Job Description

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You’ll be working on cutting-edge cloud-based applications that serve millions of users worldwide.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to work with modern technologies including Python, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes while contributing to products that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner
• Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python or similar object-oriented programming language
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD)
