The Role

We’re seeking a talented Frontend Developer who is passionate about crafting beautiful, performant web experiences. You’ll work on diverse projects for clients ranging from innovative startups to established brands, bringing creative designs to life with clean, modern code.

This role offers variety and creative freedom. One week you might be building an interactive product showcase, the next you’re creating an engaging marketing website with smooth animations. You’ll collaborate closely with our design team to ensure pixel-perfect implementations that delight users and exceed client expectations.

What You’ll Build

• Responsive websites and landing pages that convert and engage users
• Interactive web applications with rich animations and micro-interactions
• E-commerce experiences that drive sales and provide seamless checkout flows
• Marketing campaigns with creative, attention-grabbing frontend elements
• Component libraries and design systems for clients with multiple digital properties
• Progressive web apps (PWAs) that work offline and feel like native applications

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Transform Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive web interfaces
• Write semantic HTML, modular CSS, and clean JavaScript following best practices
• Build reusable components using React or Vue.js for scalable applications
• Implement smooth animations and transitions using GSAP, Framer Motion, or CSS
• Optimize websites for performance, achieving excellent Lighthouse scores
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
• Collaborate with designers to refine interactions and provide technical feedback
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
• Communicate directly with clients during project presentations and feedback sessions
• Stay current with frontend trends, tools, and techniques

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong experience with React or Vue.js and component-based architecture
• Deep understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
• Proficiency with CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap) and preprocessors (Sass, Less)
• Experience with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup) and package managers (npm, yarn)
• Knowledge of version control using Git and collaborative workflows
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, image optimization)
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to match designs precisely
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality frontend work

Bonus Points For

• Experience with animation libraries (GSAP, Framer Motion, Lottie)
• Knowledge of WebGL or Three.js for 3D web experiences
• Experience with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity, Strapi)
• Familiarity with Next.js, Nuxt.js, or other meta-frameworks

Our Work Environment

Our office is located in the heart of downtown Denver with mountain views and easy access to public transit. The space is modern, bright, and designed for collaboration with plenty of quiet zones for focused work.

Typical Work Hours: Flexible start time between 8-10am, core hours 10am-3pm, we’re done by 5:30pm. No nights or weekends unless a launch is happening (rare, and you get comp time).

Team Size: You’ll be joining a frontend team of 4 developers plus our design team of 6. The whole company is 25 people, so you’ll know everyone.

Projects: You’ll typically work on 2-3 projects simultaneously with 2-3 week sprints. Projects range from 4-week builds to 6-month engagements.
